What services do you offer?
We provide telepsychiatry-based medication management for adults (18+) experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, and related mood or attention disorders. While supportive conversation is part of each session, we do not provide stand-alone therapy or counselling.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
No. Lumecore Psychiatry does not prescribe controlled substances such as stimulants or benzodiazepines. We focus on safe, non-controlled medication options supported by clinical guidelines.
How do I request an appointment?
Just click “Request Appointment” and complete the secure form. We review each request personally to ensure we’re a good clinical fit before inviting you to begin intake.
What is the intake process like?
Once accepted, you’ll receive access to our secure patient portal (Tebra), where you’ll complete intake documents and screening tools like PHQ-9, GAD-7, and ADHD assessments if applicable.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently offer private pay only, with superbills available for reimbursement. Now accepting Aetna, Optum/UHC. Credentialing with Cigna, BCBS, and UnitedHealthcare is in progress. We do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, or Tricare.
What are your fees?
Our transparent pricing is shared during the intake process. You’ll receive a payment agreement up front, with no surprise billing.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes. We have a clear cancellation policy outlined in your intake forms. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees.
What if I need help between appointments?
We do not offer emergency or crisis services. For routine questions or follow-ups, secure messages can be sent through the patient portal. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest ER
